We made some wine bottle labels for Marge's 80th Birthday.

South Park

Eddie and Richard Bruno grew up in South Park in the thirties and forties.  Eddie tells lots of stories of everything from his childhood.  One time the neighbors cow walked on top of their underground fort the dug out and the roof caved in trapping the cow.   The cow was unharmed but the neighbor didn't know how the hole got there.

JM Cellars in Woodinville

The Seattle Urban Sketchers went to JM Cellars ( a local winery) for their berry processing.
They also had a photographer and videographer documenting the event.

I love the smell of grapes, it reminds me of when I had my vine and would harvest while listening to the World Series on the radio.

Meanders Kitchen West Seattle

Last Saturday was the Wayzgoose Steamroller Smackdown held at the School of Visual Concepts.
Different teams competed by designing and producing printed posters with the help of a Steamroller.

It was quite dramatic!

La Isla, Market Street, Ballard

This is from a very nice Caribbean Restaurant on Market Street in Ballard (Seattle)

I got a little frustrated with this and it started to get too busy and muddy.

I guess it does convey how much more lively Ballard is than it was many years ago.
