Last Saturday was the Wayzgoose Steamroller Smackdown held at the School of Visual Concepts.
Different teams competed by designing and producing printed posters with the help of a Steamroller.

It was quite dramatic!

I have been trying to improve my facial sketching skills and have been using an old newspaper to practice on.

La Isla, Market Street, Ballard

This is from a very nice Caribbean Restaurant on Market Street in Ballard (Seattle)

I got a little frustrated with this and it started to get too busy and muddy.

I guess it does convey how much more lively Ballard is than it was many years ago.
